1. DSC means Display Stream Compression, which is a 'lossless' compression algorithm. In the case of high compression ratio, the display effect may be very extreme bad.

2. DisplayPort™ Alt Mode on USB-C® means only use 2 lanes for video and 2 lanes for USB, lookup DisplayPort™ section if you are using 4 lanes.

3. When you connect Pro Display XDR to Mac with Thunderbolt Titan Ridge or newer controller, you can get full native 6K60 10Bit HDR without DSC. Apple split the screen horizontally into left and right, and use custom Thunderbolt interface to achieve dual 4xHBR3 DP connection. Each connection will transfer 3008x3384 60 10Bit HDR signal, and the Pro Display XDR will combine them into single 6K60 10Bit HDR signal.
